I really like ProjectFarm's approach to testing stuff. I've watched quite a few of his videos.

Yep, well thought out testing. I've been wanting to ask him to test window cleaners and Rain-x type products on car windshields. Seems everything I try leaves streaks and smudges.

Does anyone have one of the HF Franklin stud finders? My 25 year old Craftsman gave up the ghost.

I haven't watched that comparison video, but I did buy a Harbor Freight stud finder about 10 yrs ago. It still works fine, and finds the studs accurately. Not sure what else you can ask it to do. My biggest problem is I don't use it often enough and usually forget where I stored it last:). I need a stud finder finder.

My wife bought me the HF LED bendable trouble light 'Braun Magnetic Slim Bar Folding Rechargeable LED light' about a year ago and I use it constantly. Great tool to have around and so far has worked perfectly.

It recharges via a USB cable so I plug it into my laptop to recharge. I recommend it. Very bright on high. has 2 settings, high and low and a flashlight beam on the front. Great for working in confined places.

She also bought the 'Braun Rechargeable Spot light' for herself and it works very well too. Back end unscrews and there is a stored USB cable for charging it inside.

So far, so good.
