Okay, bit of a problem.
We have just received about 15 of snow.
Transmission never did seem to shift very well.
Now it will not go into any gear....

Anyone else have this happen?
Thoughts before I call the dealer in the morning?

Thank you
It is under warranty but it痴 a pita to have this happen now.

By not getting into gear, what that means exactly? Does it grind? The shift lever won't move? Does it happen with range gears or main gears?

I would guess clutch adjustment,
can you shift it with the engine off.

If so will it start in gear?
If it does, does it try to move without releasing the clutch.

By not going into gear I mean it’s like in neutral. No grinding, nothing.
It’s as if there are no gears there.
I can try without tractor started but I think I already did that in my multiple attempts to find a way around this.

Prior to this (had the tractor for about two months) the gears would have trouble finding the gear when I shifted between first, second, or third.

Did you try different ranges? Will it go in reverse?

There is a lot of linkage under there to lube and make sure it's not binding and moving freely.
If it got snow and ice up under the platform that could be an issue.
Does your neutral gate feel normal,
when moving it left and right slowly and deliberately does it move smoothly to a stop that is consistent.

Not sure what you mean by this?

I would be looking very close at linkages like Lou suggest. Also the shuttle shifting linkage.

Does the neutral light on the dash go off when you try to put it in gear?

You have your main transmission with it's 4 speeds in a H pattern,
if you gently and slowly move your shifter back and forth (left and right),
do you feel your linkage moving with you and stopping at the same point each way,
can you move your shifter easily with 2 fingers both ways and does it stop moving suddenly at the same point each time.
It should be a definite stop not a mushy or spongy one.

Then your range shifter has an h type pattern with a small neutral gate it should be the same.

These transmissions are not sports car transmissions to be shifted hard and suddenly,
they need more of a deliberate slow and steady manner of shifting,
straight up and down and left or right, not hurried and forced.
