Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I've got mine welded to a bracket that slips over one of my big forks, it holds it quite solid and can be tucked away when not in use. Last use was on a 15" full size Ford wheel, works fine for my purposes.

Not a bad idea, I also have a hi-lo available. You could have at least painted the welds, they look cobbly...

They have stood behind their products and replaced anything I complained about.

I received a e mail from hf this morning. They have a bunch of stuff on sale for $5.

I did see a few things but, i wonder if they will be in stock later today?

The manual tire changer is fine for steel wheels but will gouge aluminum. I modified the tire lever with a piece of teflon to protect the wheel while removing the tire and just don't use it to put the tire back on the wheel. I was kind of hoping that they would start selling touchless manual tire changers. They only seam to be sold in China so having one sent to the US would be expensive. But HF could do it in bulk. I've seen prices around $300 but I'm sure that's for one unit.

It was not a complaint about not shipping. I get that. Times are tough right now. It's a complaint about continually portraying inaccurate information.

well that was my beef about HF from the beginning with their deceptive advertising and posting many different prices for same thing. Federal gov't thought so too and brought them up on charges so now HF advertising much more sensible. Thankfully with the internet very easy to shop around and validate just how good a deal things are. I also try to support my local True Value hardware store just to make sure they stay in business...

Agree. I will buy some name brand tools from NT, but only if our local hardware does not carry and cannot get them. I'll buy some HF stuff for the same reason. The local hardware is very active in our community, always contributing time, money, materials to various community and school projects. I want to support companies that make our community a better place to live, and also that assure that things are locally available when you need them. If I have to pay a little more to do that, I'm fine with that.
