But he was told to push the banks back and he did. Truthfully a loader and a series of dump trucks would have been a better answer to the problem. It would have taken the snow away from the area and allowed the drivers to dig out better. But was it a no parking street during snow storms? Jon

I'm thinking you may not want to Box it. Heavy wet snow will get your tires slipping pretty quick when it piles in the bucket. You'll want it to slide out quick... You may want to consider having it permanently angled. Just come up with a plow system so it can stay angled one way.

Yes, he was just doing his job. However, if I had to do that same job I would not have taken any joy in the fact that I was the one burying peoples cars. On the other hand, if it was a no parking street during snow storms, as you suggested, then I guess those people got what they deserved and I can understand his joy.

Haha!
I guess it's no different than a standard pusher or just using the bucket. Slow and easy sounds like a good idea.
This is what I was thinking. Snow pushers are mounted without a trip mechanism, if this dont work out I'll have to rework the design I was just looking for something quick and simple to plow with when the blower dont quite cut it.

As far as the blade being angled, the plan is to try it this way and see if the little 2210 has enough to push a full blade of wet snow then I'll either box it in or angle the blade if I dont think It can handle a snow pusher.

Sure, try it. I just mentioned it, cause my 10000lb backhoe starts to lose traction when I have both sides of my V plow angled forward, like a box. From the pics, you have blacktop drive, it may behave better on that.
