Hey Everyone! Current status on the remodel is that I've got the "as built" drawings done and I'm working on remodel drawings.
They also came in and cleaned up my driveway, paved it, and also paved the entrance to the subdivision.
There are a bunch of photos of the driveway work...
I forgot the pix of the prep work.

One of the things I am playing with is the idea of redoing the front porch.
The engineer who drew up as built plans did a mockup you can compare to a photo.
I've been told its about $20,000 it would be dark red tin/steel roof.
Thoughts?

You can do it yourself. I am doing this on our house. Been an on and off again project for a year or so. Very doable. Pressure treated wood is expensive and well we go high grade quality.
Biggest issue for us was basically tearing off the front of the house down to studs and redoing all that. Messy hard work.
Working on decking now....looking for porch posts. No stores in my area have them. May have to go to your 610 lowes in the AM.
