@Winston1, I think California’s tires are brought more to the outside so there is more space. I have only 40 inch width, tires included. I don’t know if it will work without a xpattern. Due to the limited space between the tires I believe I can’t use spacers on the pins either because this will bring the lift arms too close to the tires. Thanks

Are your rear wheels turned for the wide stance? There are at least two different lower lift arms available also. That could make a difference. You can click around on #26 here and see some differences. THREE_POINT_HITCH: Yanmar Tractor Parts

That is awfully dirty California! :D

Yep, I was going to mention the neglect on the earlier post but I thought better of it.

Excellent idea Winston1, thanks, I’ll see if turning the rear wheels makes a difference. I always found the space between the tires
A bit tight.

Don’t turn the rear wheels, but swap left to right and right to left to maintain lug direction.

I also mounted my wheels outboard of the adjustable-width hubs that they bolt to. This gains more width.

I put each hub on a benchtop belt sander to make that mounting surface flat but found they were ok, that took off only paint. (photo).

Not all yanmar wheels have adjustable centers. Such is the case with my YM2002D. With my wheels it is either dish in or dish out.

Not the best picture, but I think you can get the view that it is ‘dish out’.

A related option that works with some implements is to mount the lift pins yo the inside of the frame. It will not work with all frames, but when it does it gains a few inches on each side of the inside of tires.

Agree. My other tractor - YM240 - has two part wheels. 'Hat' (center) and 'Rim' in some farmers' terminology. Switching either part in or out gives various widths.

On my YM240 some prior owner apparently bought whatever was available for replacement rear tires. Likely somebody's new tractor takeoffs. The rims are Kubota orange and the tires are larger than anything Yanmar provided for that model. See my sig photo, below this post. It's 2wd so not a problem.

The Kubota rims bolted right onto the Yanmar centers, while I don't think Kubota centers have the same lug pattern as Yanmar. Whatever, it works fine.
