Wrong end of the animal. It's a pelvis - not a skull. See the exact same bone quite often here. Probably from a deer.

As i was walking i thought about it and figured it's probably a pelvis, thx.

I found this guy in the same area about 1 year ago, probably the same creature?

Amazing how many turtles there are in the woods! In 6 months i've counted about 75-100, most alive.

Yep, if nothing else the two huge bowls where the top of the legs tie in is a dead give away. Maybe his buddy should spend less time figuring out fire and more time figuring out how to get meat from an animal to a fire:laughing:

Thx again everyone. My buddy called later and said the same thing, deer pelvis.

As wth all things, when you change your point of view you see a different picture. Looked like. ET to me.

Every time i find a bone i'm hoping it's a dinosaur or wolf or something. Speaking of which, looks like they finally figured out what to do with those 2 dino fossils found out west, still in fighting positions. TV said it was donated.
