2020: A Utah Odyssey

The location has been all over the news today. Somebody or group of somebodies on Reddit claim credit for finding it.

Bruce's website findings on this forum are unmatched. He can even find and post a view of your place if you like?

That's a good link. It's an older article and as always this site dropped a zero but it happened in 1946, not 2014.
What I couldn't get from the article; did they ever figure out that it was a hoax, or is this 2006 article the first time that fact was made public?

I like that guy. He'd fit right in here.

It's even been indexed in the GE Search tool. Doesn't take much effort to find it.

Actually there are some discrepancies in this article... He was a good columnist but Klinkenberg got a few things wrong based on my memory and others that were around...somewhere I have some of the original newspaper clippings...

The way I recall it shortly after the tracks were left on Indian Rocks Beach (where I grew up) the perps actually confessed and showed off the casting they used to create the tracks...

No, I didn't find the monolith by searching. I found the link to the location at some place I don't remember now, a day or two ago.

The "secret" to effective search is to try as many different names as you can think for something, use Google translate and search for it in different languages, use different search engines, search for related things, and don't give up after a few minutes.
