It's always amazed me there are so many folks that get enamored over goofballs seeking their 15 minutes...!

It's something different to talk about, rather than the weather, politics, or who's going to get kicked off "Survivor" next.

(Is that show still on? I only watched one episode to see what everybody was talking about. I waited and waited for it to start getting interesting... then it ended.)

One absolute outcome of the recent election was proving beyond any doubt my theory of the lack of intelligence within the populous based on what TV shows are popular...how long has that carcrashdians show been on ? LoL...!

The only way that I know about any of those shows is from hearing about them on the radio or from other people. For a long time I thought that "Kardashian" was some kind of alien life form on Star Trek.

The only way that I know about any of those shows is from hearing about them on the radio or from other people. For a long time I thought that "Kardashian" was some kind of alien life form on Star Trek.

I see the titles browsing the online guides...
What is more stupid than a couple of goofballs looking through piles of junk and making a big deal out of something they know full well in advance what is there?...or some goofball taking something of value to a goofball pawnbroker only to be offered way less than the item would bring by selling on e-bay etc..these shows are immensely popular...go figure...!

Even the science and nature shows that are worth watching are several years or even decades old...and then the actual content time is about equal to the commercials...It's no wonder the streaming services are popular...the average length of an episode of 'Justified', 'Yellowstone' etc., etc... is about 40 minutes for a one hour show...meaning for every hour there is 20 minutes of commercials...

You'd mentioned Survivor in a previous post. I don't get that show (or Big Brother) either...seems the whole point of them is to cast kind of nasty, self-centered people and watch them snipe at each other. Then again, I'm sure my parents/grandparents' generation didn't get my culture either.
