So my steering valve leaks when the bucket is full and turning, I have a Danfoss OSPM 100 0N. steering valve in it. Do any of you know of a source for a rebuild/reseal kit?
at first I thought it was the Hyd. hose on the left side of the valve as sitting in the seat. replaced it and yes I used new O rings. the second time I used it and had a load of 5?8 minus gravel in the bucket it puked out hyd. fluid again. It is defiantly coming from the end cap of the valve and not one of the hose fittings.
Found a exploded view of valve and it is something I have every confidence in tackling.
I mainly use tractor for snow removal (we live in the Cascade mountains of Washington) I had soo much other stuff going on this past fall I had forgotten about the leak until yesterday when inspecting and making sure I'm ready for winter. I'm sure I could take it apart and match up O rings and seals, however I am under the gun for time now with winter knocking on the door. I can not have this unit down when we get snow.
new valves are $700+ and reman/used are $400+
thanks for any input
Ken

If you are in a time crunch a $400 reman would seem like a reasonable option.
Used.....maybe not so much.

Maybe call them and ask questions.
I wouldn’t be afraid to repair it myself.

I took mine apart because the seal was leaking where the shaft entered the valve.
I didn't find a kit at the time, needed the tractor so I just polished the shaft with scotch brite until I got around to ordering the seal kit.
But it has been good ever since.

Ps. Mark the sections when you take it apart.
I misaligned mine and it would shake the living **** out of the wheel without any input.
And worse if you tried to steer it.

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE, I'LL POST HERE AFTER THE KIT ARRIVES AND VALVE HAS BEEN RESEALED.
