I'm still waiting to hear who says intelligence peaked thousands of years ago. Wasn't that when the Romans were throwing dissidents to the lions?

I loved Emergency as a kid ! I've done my part and got another generation hooked on it in reruns.
I always liked "EMERGENCY" and those medics in their LIL RED (Dodge) EXPRESS TRUCK. And that NURSE. A fifteen years old dream!

The two tone paging was the best. Funny, how in this high tech world, it's still preferred in many areas. Although, probably not many Vibrasponders used these days.

Jstpssng.

Google it. Lots of stuff to read.

"Humankind's intelligence peaked thousands of years ago and advanced civilization has made life so easy for so many that our trend towards stupidity will continue as the ingenuity and intellect once needed for basic survival erode even further".

OR, you could just look around you. lol

Standard answer... "google it". ;)
Actually I did before I even asked the question; and the articles contradict themselves. I saw nothing more than mere speculation and projection.

Well, I guess you aren't gonna find too many archived IQ tests from thousands of years ago.

The nurse (Dixie McCall) in Emergency was Julie London who was a fairly popular singer in years past. On of her hits was, “Cry me a River”. Just a FYI

I agree. I sometimes have to pull this video up and watch it again, to remind me what really, side splitting funny is (or was). Caution...adult humor.

My favorite... the whole Rodney Dangerfield line up that night was incredible.

One must venture away from the network channels and explore in Netflix, AmazonPrime, etc.

Anyone watch 'Rectify'? Brilliant.

'Schitt's Creek'? Also.

Yes. Ive found quite a few good British based shows on the Acorn channel within Amazon. Good writing, acting and beautiful scenery from the British Isles, Australia, and New Zealand. Few car chases, gore and shootouts. I find the subtitles on the 10 second rewind helpful at times though.
