Yup. Winter tires are a must up here. Just got Michelin X-Ice for the wife’s new 4Runner - the best! (Have them on my F 150 as well.)

Here is the rim I got from Canadian Tire for the F 150 winter tires: (Old rims were rusted and ugly)

yes, thanks, and I called him to remind him I was on his list. I'll do the small walkway into the house, have to remember to
bring the shovel inside too. They will do the driveway and shovel the garage door clear.

43 outside and rain. That might be the high today.

Yesterday the porch work did not go as planned. The "wall" that is holding up the roof was more troublesome than expected. Out of the 36 foot run, I managed to get one corner out. Then as I was measuring for post height realized one side lags about an inch more than the other. I managed to use a combination of saws and sledge hammers to get the one new support post in, but am still pondering the lag. And, well, I need more decking. I forgot to take into account the "wall" was built with 2X6's and not 2X4's.

So now I am on hold for a while, weather wise. Is disappointing.

I pretty much like all pulled pork, but when I really want it, I go to NE North Carolina.

34F and cloudy @ 22:30, headed down to a low of 32F.

Now treating old toilet bowl with CLR/water mix - looks like it is having some effect ... :thumbsup: ... but pretty slow going ...

Worked on shower pan curb ... which was painful. Looks like the tile guys from the old country used thinset or white grout where the walls met the curb ... lots of scraping and sanding to remove it. Still have a ways to go. Need to pick up a tube of Lexel from Ace tomorrow.

Got tile saw mostly assembled, still need to square the blade to the table and move the whole thing downstairs. With the legs on the stand fully extended it's not as low as I thought it would be. I would prefer it a little higher though ... but it should be workable at the height it's at now ... at least for time being.

Pulled canister filter on the aquarium in the living room and got that all cleaned out.

Ran down to the local pizza joint and grabbed some hot wings and garlic rolls for dinner. Don't usually get the hot wings - usually go with the Garlic Parmesan - the hot wings were might tasty this time around though.

Still working tracking down electrical issue mystery ... :confused2:

The best snow tires I have found are the Nokian
Hakkapeliitta's now they are up to the 9's in the studded versions.
I've used their LT3's and the Hakkapeliitta 6's 8's and now have the 9's on my pickup and my wifes Jeep.

Coffee is cooling in cup. 31° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 34° with mostly cloudy skies. Did some house cleaning yesterday. Still some cleaning to do in cellar. No other plans.
Birds are back at feeders.

Furnace is acting up again. Will be back later.

Nice looking Four Runner great vehicles Wifes car came with 22s not many choices only one in fact for snow tires. My best luck with truck tires for snow Toyo AT2s great wear very good in snow. The computers in new cars sometimes do not like switching sizes so try to stay close to what came on vehicle
