Those Nokian snows look good, AND they come in 19". Another plus is they are directional. I have Toyo GSi 5s on the Dodge and I do not like them at all, but with the price I paid for them ($1157.12) 225/55R19. I will run them right down to the wear bars.
The Jeep has mud tires and I have 2 more sets of them in the shed, with only one season on them.

Good Morning. 38 here and raining here. Supposed to be the same all day, about a half inch of rain expected.
Yesterday went pretty much according to the plan, but air traffic in Philly was crazy, we sat at least 15 minutes at the end of the runway waiting for a clearance. Once underway, it went fine.
Got back in plenty of time to take care of the electrical and data work at the restaurant. It’s interesting to see how well they have adapted to the pandemic by shifting to takeout. Their business is actually up from last year, and have added employees. I guess that the wait staff, while busy answering phones and handling orders is missing tip money though.
My engine for the Lazer should be at the distributor, which is nearby, and owned by a friend. He wanted to bring it to me as an excuse to visit, but was out of town and got back a day late. He said that he would bring it today. Mowing season is over, so it doesn’t make any difference to me. Hopefully it will be my entertainment for today.
We are supposed to get significant snow on Wednesday, I’m ready for it, but I think I will put the fiberglass markers in at the turns in the lane so I stay on the pavement. All I’ll have to do to get started is push the door opener remote in the tractor cab and drive out.

I don’t bother with snow tires, we live on a state road that is always plowed early and well. My only challenge is getting out my lane, I have to clear it before I can go anywhere.
My daily driver is a Prius, which is great on ice, but horrible in any more than 3 inches of snow. We do have a couple of RAV4’s which are much better in the snow if I had to go somewhere remote. The have all season tires on them.
As far as snow tires, the best I have found when I used to use them was Bridgestone Blizzak. I don’t know if that’s still valid, as been over a decade since that experience.

It's the shoes. A lot of shoes are made with plastic soles and they are useless if it is wet or icy. When I am shopping for boots I will wet my finger to try and gauge how grippy the sole is. Just like tires some are better on ice than others. When you get older falling is a bad thing.
