What are you hoping for or asking for Christmas?

Personally I find gift cards more crass than cash. It's a bit different if you're buying them for employees or such, but is it really a gift if you can't put some thought into it?

I went to buy pallet rack and wire shelving out of a closed restaurant and bar a couple of weeks ago. They had a 2007 1600 cc,V-Twin cruiser on display. While I was admiring it,the manager asked if I'd be interested and I couldn't resist. Told the family dad is already fixed up for Christmas.

I quit the whole thing years ago. My younger brother is a big big time accountant kinda guy and after getting and sending many many gift cards I said to the family, let's just send uncle mike a spread sheet and he can net it all out.

And regifting...............somethings wrong

Seriously,
My fiancé has stage 3 cancer and all I want is for her to beat it.

I worry about the kids being out of school and the long term effects so I hope the vaccine works.

I did that once... sort of. Money was tight and I had a book which I had really enjoyed... 50 short stories about a murder from every state. I gave it to my brother because it was better than anything I would have bought him anyways... it's also one book which I would ordinarily have held onto.
