Google maps blur out a house in street view?

We've always been able to tell what somebody paid for a tract. Every transfer includes a fee which is based on purchase price... that fee is public information.

There never was any privacy in the past either. You can take an address, go down to the county office, and find out all the information on who owns it, what they paid for it, what they sold it for, how many sq ft, taxes, land, etc....

Just now most places have that all on-line, which saves you the trip. But it was always public information. Just easier to access now.

Actually, I never "lived" there... my parents did. We did build the barn one Christmas... pretty surprised it's still standing :laughing:

I buy (too much) stuff off of Craig's List and I normally "drive" via. google maps street view to the place beforehand. I love that they spent the time (and money) building that data base.

The blur just surprised me...

I have Google Earth Pro. Same view as MossRoad posted - post#10. However - there are some locations where the final/sharp picture takes quite a while to load. This was not one of these locations.
