I really like that first one; particularly the construction of the building itself.

So just found out there are classes for this in Raleigh... humm... might have to take one or two (second one you get to build a beer opener) Who doesn't want a beer opener for $140 ($70 x2)... actually looks interesting.

If a blacksmith shop is anything like a machine shop, the metal cutoffs and leftovers that "you might need someday" will take over the workspace. Maybe these guys just have a pile out back.

My dream shop would be to convert an old grain bin into a blacksmith shop. It would be one of the few times a circular footprint would be efficient AND aesthetically pleasing.





I have all the gear. Just need a building.

This one is in Hungary and I had one from Czech - newly built full brick building, nicer than most houses.

Typical historical blacksmith shop in Czech looks little bit like an old fashion American gas station.

But I will be building 12x16 shelter only, limit is the lumber my sawmill can produce.
