I saw a mouse in the garage today, I just thought I would brag a bit because I still have two wedges of D-Con left lol. One will go in the garage, the other in the barn. Stuff has been in the closet for 5 or 6 years. Don’t really have issues with mice at the house I bought.

After I’m out of D con I’ll have to look for another solution. I’ll try that Jaguar. Now that I don’t have chickens I’ll keep poison in the barn to keep mice out of the tractors.

I heard D-Con had been removed from the marketplace. I ordered several boxes on eBay. I don't use it in the house or barn, I keep a pack under each headlight on my car. My packs apparently ran empty as one headlight quit. I spliced the wires and replaced the D-Con. In the meantime my neighbor just said he bought a fresh supply at Home Depot.

It does seem to be getting harder to find. Clerk at Walmart told me they don't carry it anymore.
Went next door to TS and they had plenty.

I think the D Con that is available now is a different formulation.

The d-CON I have was banned in 2014 for killing non target wildlife.

I will never have Dcon at my home ever again. Last spring my dog ate a piece and fortunately he is ok. 1k or more at the vet later. It is much less the vet bill but had he died from it, I don't know how I could have handled that. Dcon is a painful death to what ever eats it. You may kill the mouse, but if a cat then eats that mouse, the cat is likely a goner as well.

yeah, too much collateral damage- sticky traps work fine enough for me in mouse only accessible locations.

i finally got 2 cats. one i a lot heavier than the other. he's the aggressive one. eats the heads first and the the rest!!! " just one bite" or "bar bait" works good also.
