so, you've been spreading your germs /infections on people all these years. Now, somehow it's different, and you don't want to spread your germs /infections on others anymore ?
Just trying to figure out why all of a sudden, it now matters to you about spreading your germs/infections on others, when you've been doing it for years ?
Seems strange spreading your germs /infections to others, never mattered until now..

You have a funny definition of "never." When I was a kid, the county health officer could quarantine your household, and if you broke quarantine you got to finish it out in a jail cell. Those old public health laws are still on the books in most jurisdictions, even if they are not enforced.

The problem in my state is the fellow who signs the executive orders that we should wear masks keeps getting photoed in close contact with others at parties and such with no mask while demanding the general population wear masks. You cannot blame people when they question his orders.

I wear a mask when I go in a store and such but the second I知 outside it comes off. These masks have taught me a couple of things: I really like to breath and I hate trying to live life looking through foggy glasses.

I've come to the same conclusions as you state in your last line. I also find myself questioning whether I need to go into that store to begin with...

Now masks are stockpiled in warehouses and somebody has to pay for them, so everybody needs to wear masks. I would agree that everybody should wear masks when in close contact. They wanted to reserve available gloves, gowns and masks for medical personnel, so they lied through their teeth. Everybody knew they were lying. If masks didn't do anything, why did doctors and nurses need them? There was quite a shortage for a while.

I ordered a year's supply of masks in early January. In March, they wanted me to donate them to the local hospital. Screw that. If I could see what was coming, the only reason they weren't prepped was incompetence. I had dental appointments and asked the techs what they had planned for the epidemic. All I got was blank looks.

And there lies some of the problem.

I conclude that my mask helps protect me. Any mask, although I wear a KN95. Just as a dust mask helps keeps you from breathing in as much dust while you are sanding, a mask reduces the number of droplets you may be inhaling if someone coughs or sneezes around you. Not 100%, but enough that the few that get through have a lower chance of infecting you.

The same principle as staying 6 feet away from someone is safer than being face to face with them. It is even safer to stay 10 feet away and safer at 100 feet. If you can not believe this simple fact I pity you.

We each have a 'they' or many that we listen to, and considerable freedom to choose among any and all. Then it's up to us to listen to several sides and make up out minds. Common sense is surely what most of us rely on.

It's kinda like that when seeking tractor advice, too.

Team owners need the revenue.
No games, no ticket sales and no TV revenue.

just my point. With the general public. We should wear mask. When there is money involved, all the rules go away, and there is no worry about people catching covid

I think it would be ok to fill the jails with people breaking a quarantine...
Just what the jails need filled up with harden criminals that have broken Quarantine .

Last I heard, they are letting criminals out of jails due to covid !

After two test. I'm clear.. Now, I hear some that don't believe in a negative test. They only believe in the test if it comes back positive..

I will say, I'm now mask FREE ! No need to wear it since I'm no longer sick, I can't infect anyone...
And, since a mask won't protect me from getting covid again, no since wearing one now
