Heck, I have been social distancing since 911. I stay away from and don't get in crowds. Reminds me of waiting in line at Astroworld back in the late 60s. Dad said he didn't like lines. Said everywhere in the military he went, they were standing in lines.

IIRC...they had air conditioning vents along the line paths ??

One of the vaccines is really finicky as to how it's stored and used. My wife has reservations about that one.

Then main issue is if it's gonna actually be handled and administered correctly. That vaccine has also had a high number of severe reactions.

My wifes theory is that it's not being handled and administered correctly and that is causing the reactions.

The Moderna vaccine has had less adverse side effects as well as easier to handle. So there is a higher chance that it is administered correctly.

I told my vet I could give my dog it's penicillin, as I can buy it at the feed store and have done it before. The Vet. assistant said, yes you can, but it may have not been refrigerated correctly. I let them them give my dog his shot.

Not having much luck finding any data for the assertion you made of a high number of severe reactions ... I did find this however:

Health Care Worker Had Serious Allergic Reaction After Pfizer'''s Covid Vaccine - The New York Times

And this one which said there were no serious adverse events found during the trials:

Pfizer’s Vaccine Offers Strong Protection After First Dose - The New York Times
Yeah, but then why was the news reporting 3 people today had adverse reactions, 2 yesterday, and so on and so forth? And all on the Pfizer vaccine. .

My post was opinion based off from what I gleamed off the news.

If your looking for a fight or argument then take it to the cess pool called top news talk.

From here:
Preliminary US death statistics suggest more have died so far in 2;) than in all of 219

"How many people have died so far in 2020?

So far, more than 290,000 Americans have died of COVID-19. According to preliminary weekly data from the Centers for Disease Control and Protection (CDC), 2,926,129 people have died from all causes between January 1 and November 28 of this year. While this data is preliminary and is incomplete for the last eight weeks, it provides for useful context.

According to the same estimates, 2,852,590 people died in 2019, meaning at least 73,000 more people have died so far in 2020 than 2019, despite missing or incomplete data for October through December. If deaths continue at the weekly average of approximately 60,000 per week, at least 240,000 more people would die in 2020, resulting in more than 3.1 million deaths. If the population grew at the same rate in 2020 as in 2019 (0.5%), this would result in a death rate of 9.4 deaths per 1,000, making it the highest death rate in decades."

That's an additional 313,000 deaths in the U.S. this year VS 2019.

It wasn't car wrecks.

No idea ... but 3 + 2 don't seem like high numbers to me ... particularly in light of the number of doses that have now been administered ... :confused3:

My post was opinion based off from what I gleamed off the news. ...

Thanks for clearing that up ...

I think I was exposed to it in November 2013. My friend was feeling too bad to eat Turkey dinner and had to go to the ER with difficulty breathing and no taste and no smell. He was checked out for the flu, which he was told it wasn't and that it was some respiratory problem. He came home and finally got better. This was way before the government said Covid was here. I told the counter girl at my hydraulic shop that story and she said the staff at the hyd. shop went through the same thing.

Astroworld had just had the grand opening and we were in lines outside the covered area with A/C vents, standing in the sun.

Another of our neighbors got it. Probably got it from the asymptomatic grandkids she had over to bake Christmas cookie. Mother of the grand children tested positive after Thanksgiving get together with the mother's parents. So far fairly minor, head ache, fever, rash and some lower GI issues.
