All of Nevada is in mourning today. Dawn was a local girl - graduated from Reno High School and represented Nevada in the Miss America pageant and spent a lot of time in the Reno area most of her life. I never got to know her but those who did (she maintained a home in Reno all her life) say she was a really down to earth person - her personality and that of "Mary Ann" were the same.
