Snow PTO Switch Help and General Part Buying

Well Googling “John Deere 425 PTO Switch” didn’t do me any good other than waste $20.
Looks pretty close here right?

Well it’s a different pin configuration.
Note the bottom of my old switch has two NOT close together. The new switch has two close together.

So I guess this isn’t the right switch for my Early 425? I wish there was a part supplier that I can actually use my serial number to see if I’m buying the right part number. Or even find a parts blue up where I can actually find the part I need. Where the F**K is the pto switch in any diagram? Any help would be appreciated

Hi Undercover. In June of 2016 I replaced the pto switch on my 925m ztr. The geometry of the pins is the same as your old switch. The part# from my Deere dealer was TCA21027. I’m sure because I kept the old switch as a spare since replacement did not fix my issue back then .

jdparts shows part # A-B1EM48 for the 425 PTO switch. Serial number above or below 70000 ?

it's the same switch above and below the 70,000 serial break
A&I aftermarket # A-B1EM48
Deere # LVA21437

It's NOT same switch for above and below serial number 70,000

LVA21437 & A-B1EM48 is for 70,000 and below.

AM21438 is for 70,001 and above.

The P/N you bought is for serial numbers 70,001 and above. You need P/N LVA21437 OR A-B1EM48
