I just watched it too. Pretty good. Tip: Dont watch the trailer or previews. Spoils it a little.

Tommy Lee Jones has had quite the career. Drama, comedy. I liked Coal Miner's Daughter, No Country For Old Men, The Fugitive, Men In Black.

"A Bridge Too Far" is on Netflix right now. This is based upon a real WW II operation called Operation Market Garden. Good, but IMHO, not a great war movie, but worth a watch (have a 6-pack handy...it's almost 3 hours long)
Another film about the same operation (and has better reviews, BTW) is "Theirs Is the Glory"

I saw a Bridge to Far when I was in high school when it first came out. Not a great movie but it is good. There is a scene at the beginning where they walk the artillery into the Germans holed up in some woods. That has to be seen on the big screen to appreciate.

I watched A Bridge to Far again recently as I found it difficult to follow the first time. It can really pay to read about the operation ahead of time and then listen carefully to the first 45 minutes of the movie. :2cents:
