I’m curious to know if there is a backhoe option for a 6060 cab tractor utilizing a swivel seat instead of a separate seat requiring you to get out of the machine

No you’ll have to go to a M59 or real backhoe to get that option.

I have a backhoe for my L5740 Cab tractor. I use it a lot and I'm really glad I have it, but getting off the hoe to move the tractor every time is a big deal when trenching, and I've rented a mini-ex like KX-040 for a day when doing long trenches, even though it cost me about 2.5 hours going to rent it and return it. So if your plan is do a lot of trenching, you might consider another solution.

Ya, all the cuts & scuts require you to get off the tractor to get on the hoe seat. Need a real TBL for a fancy swivel seat.

The BH92 hoe on my L6060HST has a separate seat. The tractor seat does swivel but only a few degrees. It doesn't come close to facing rearward. When digging long trenches, I bent up a piece of pipe which hooks onto the HST treadle. I use it to move the tractor forward as I dig. Steering is a bit of a chore and requires reaching over the tractor seat to grab the wheel. Not pretty but it saves a lot of time climbing on and off the tractor.

Unfortunately, I'm trading the L6060HST for a L6060HSTC cab model and my scheme will no longer work. I plan to mount the BH92 on my MX5800 and use it for excavating instead.

We have a mini already and use it extensively in our landscaping company. I’ve been looking at either an L6060 or M62tlb. This machine will be a jack of all trades machine. I like the L6060 because it’s a little faster and has a mid pto for a front blower. The downside is the weak loader and inefficient backhoe setup. The M62 has a strong loader, good for moving heavy pallets of pavers. It has a great backhoe also. I would have to add an aftermarket cab and would be limited to a rear blower attachment. It is also a heavier machine and would limit trailering to only a few of my employees that have their cdl

You should be able to haul a M62 without a CDL. My truck, trailer, and M59 weighs somewhere around 21k. The truck GVW is 10,000 and the trailer gvw is 14,000 which is still a GCWR if less than 26000. I’d probably have to switch to my black trailer vs the heavier yellow trailer but I could move it behind my 6500 and be under CDL weight. Under 26,000 GCWR probably not. BTW I just bought a Kubota KX040 and if you already have one you’ll probably be disappointed in the backhoe especially the L6060 one. IMG_9144.JPGIMG_8580.JPG

We would be under 26kgcvw but in CT, trailers over 10k are subject to cdl

That’s a ripoff. I don’t see how you’re going to haul a L6060 either. They’re 4300 pounds base weight plus your backhoe and loader. You won’t be much if any less than the M62 and you’ve got half as capable machine.

This will be a second backhoe to use, not to replace the mini
