What the heck am I doing in a Kubota thread? Well I've got a Mate, outside of Canberra (Gundaroo, to be exact), who asked me to ask the august members [that's you lot :)] of TBN if there is a part number for a (2018) L3800, open station, right-hand fender grip/hand-hold.

Apparently his dealership says there isn't one available (even though the holes for one are there) as the tractor is mounted from the Left-hand side. Sizing a Left-Hand grip, reversed, doesn't line up with the holes. He just wants one to 'hang onto'.

Any help appreciated, Ta.

It's the same handle as on an open station Grand. I got one for my former L3200 & it fit fine. I think there were even holes in the fender covered in a sticker for them. Probabky part numbers listed in some old threads if you search.

The handle was never avaliable on the economy machines, only the Grands. But both use the same fenders I think.

From Messicks. Didn’t show a grip for a 3800. Had them on a 3830 I once had. Fenders looked similar.

70.1
ASSY, GRIP RH (see notes)
- replaces #T1060-29450
T1060-29470 $49.97. 19 in stock

If you log in on their parts site you can see parts and pictures.

As the folks have said, grip from similar model should work. I wanted one for my L2501. The parts breakdown showed none. I looked at breakdowns for larger models like the L4701. I ordered a grip, removed two round orange stickers, and it fit. The price was just over $50 from Kubota and the new grip did not include the bolts but my dealer knew what size they were and sold them, too.

I have a 3900 and I bought a hand grip off eBay. Fit right in the holes and i love it

I made my own and had the back end of it be a cup holder.

The L60 open station Grands don't come with the right hand grip either. The plastic console partially covers the indentation & bolt hole along with gray tape. I was told to buy a RH MX grip and trim the console a hair.

Mine went on a Kubota L3010GST. I can't get pics right now, but I used the left handle as a pattern for length and angles. Used 1 1/4" square tubing and a bit of round tubing big enough to hold a Yeti can cooler. Welded 3/8" bolts to go through the attachment holes in the fender. Here is an artist's concept.
