I had that same or similar problem last spring, then out of blue this past fall I could load up pictures again but for how much longer I dont know.

I started watching the video but fell asleep because it was to long, all I can remember is seeing bubbles and a garden hose........

No garden hose, sorry...

"The Brownville Food Pantry For Deer feeds approximately 400 pounds per day of native oats (local) to help sustain the white-tailed deer population through rough winters here in central Maine. " Rough winters in ME<<<<<< are you kidding me, I haven't seen a rough winter in 10 years.

I didn't go hunting at all this pass fall, I got discourage from the previous year of not seeing any behind my house, then this virus thing for me takes lot of the ole time fun out of it, part of the fun was going to local restaurant for brunch and hear deer story's, then the other thing that has turned me off this past Nov..........

Boy aint that the truth!!

The flags in front of my house in honor of inauguration day...

Well it "claims" its a 7 seater and I think its probably right, biggest one we've had as of yet, and we've had a bunch! 6 or 7 over the years I think.. And no, does not make me feel like 25 again.. those days are gone for good!

Clearing land, reclaiming pasture...

Yesterday, I pulled over a 12 inch Maple with the tractor because I don't want to leave any stumps in the field.

Couldn't push it over, so put the chain about 25 feet up the tree to leverage pulling it over. (Yes Ma, I used the draw bar, 3 chains and a heavy tow strap to be clear of the tree when it fell.)

It took the MX6000 with loaded tires and 800# box blade a dozen tugs to loosen the roots and finally get it to topple.

The root mass ended up about 5 feet in diameter for that little tree.

Said that as a simple comparison to your huge trees toppled by the storm Mr. Oldtimer.

Your root mass is huge, just a guess, but easily a couple thousand pounds, and your trunks at the base looks nearly 4 feet in diameter.

It must have been a powerful wind to have taken that set of trees down, and that was without having leaves on the trees to act as a sail.

Hope you didn't lose your home roof in that storm!!!

Why - if it is pasture - do you not just cut the stump off flush to the ground and not tear everything up creating more work to fix it. The stump and roots will rot in a few years and the cows, horses, whatever will gladly pick around it?

Well unless you were going to disc up said pasture or something, then you sure don't want the stumps.
