Compact tractor loader

I am looking at a Compact tractor Cub Cadet Front Loader model 833. Just wondering if this loader could be made to fit on a Yanmar YM 2402 tractor. I think the loader is close to the size loader I would need. I think brackets could be made. Would this loader be too wide, too long, or just not a good fit at all. Thanks for any help.

Trying to match a used loader to a different brand tractor is usually a very a poor idea.

This loader is not one of the new ones with all the rounded arms designed for the round nose tractors, it is a straight forward loader.
The width and length would be my concern. bracket can be fabricated for most anything. Just thought someone may have a loader on a YM 2402 that I could compare sizes.

Was able to find that the Cub Cadet loader 833 was matched with the Cub Cadet 7532 tractor. That tractor is similar in size to the Yanmar YM 2402, so now to find someone to make brackets

I noticed on your profile you listed a compact Kubota tractor and a 8N ford tractor, along with a Ford 1920 loader, just wondering were you trying to mate your loader with one of these tractors?

Anything can be made to fit and work as long as you're willing to spend the time and money! I put a Mitsubishi 2000D loader on an Iseki 2140 tractor. Had to make all new mounts and sub frame to fit. As long as loader arm width fits tractor and doesn't extend to far forward. I went this way since it is next to impossible to find an Iseki loader for my tractor. You may not get the performance as a factory loader, but something is better than nothing.

It does have a similar shape to the Koyer's for the YM series.

Shows that it was a Mitsubishi tractor made for CC. Actually, you should SELL the YM2402 and just BUY a CC7532 with the loader! That machine has the K3M turbo charger engine! :thumbsup: On the Mitsubishi forums, that is one great machine!

If you go this route, I have both the operators manual and the engine service manuals too! Actually, I have all the Mitsubishi K3-Series manuals.

The Koyker 125 loader from fredricks would cost around 5000.00 for my YM2402. I can buy the never installed CC 833 loader for under 2000.00. Sell my YM and buy a used CC 7532 would be better if I could find one in great condition, if parts are still available for that line of cub cadet tractors.

In my opinion, adding a new after market loader to an older used tractor is simply false economy.

I have to agree with that advice....and it hurts me to say it since I have a shop and all the skills. But you are mega time ahead to buy a tractor with a fitted loader. And I bet the dollars aren't much different either.
BTW, I don't know if you have power steering, but I'll never again put a loader on a tractor without PS.

A compromise that works is a rear 3pt dump bucket. Lots of those available for inexpensive.

Power steering would be a problem. I do have a scoop pan that works well, also have a Johnny Bucket on a John Deere 455 that is great, only thing, can't raise it very high. Thanks for all the advice, looks like getting a tractor set up with factory front loader would be the best.
