I need a little help with an issue I am having. My tractor is a '04 New Holland TC45DA. Late fall, when raising the 3 point hitch, all of a sudden it would go all the way up even though the handle was only moved a 1/4 of the way up at most. To lower it you have to quickly move the lever back down and back up a little to get it to stay at the desired height. I tried adjusting the drop rate valve per the manual but that did not correct the problem. I know it is due for a fluid and filter change and hope to get that done this weekend. Does anyone have any other ideas of what could be the problem??
Thanks,
Bill

Is there any chance the linkage is jammed or bent?

Thanks, I will definitely check the linkage out although, the lever moves freely as it always has.
