I used to work with a guy that was an avid pool player. He informed me that professional pool competitions are segregated by gender. This struck me as odd, since I don't think it's a very physical game. He claimed that men have a superior innate ability to visualize the angles required for the various shots. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to expand that to driving.

Yeah, totally, it's your fault. You should own better equipment. Now is your chance to put a solar roof on your Ute so it will never run down.

I'm a smile sweetly and "Yes dear" kind of guy. It pays dividends for me. I'm sure that she knows that she owes you double. One for toasting the battery, and two for not having managed to turn the Ute and float around in the first place.

The toasted battery might be a good excuse for a fancy charger. Just saying...

Sorry about the grief and the absolutely cactus battery. Personally, I hate losing batteries.

That sounds like a solid plan to me. Some of the biggest fights I've had with my wife were related to her mowing on our SCUT. She operates it like she's on a bulldozer, and she repeatedly breaks things with no remorse.

I finally had to back off and take a "you broke it, you fix it" approach. After several extended periods in the shop, she has been losing interest in mowing, which is fine with me.

Reminds me of being a teenager. Have an argument with Mama and she'd say go mow the yard (Murray 20") to get me out of her hair. But her flower beds were my revenge.

My Lady friend is so afraid of damaging my stuff that it's hard to get her to do certain jobs. She is even on MY case about me possibly breaking something.

Funny, know a guy that is a mans man, but constantly whipped by his wife nevertheless. Met him unexpectedly at another friends yesterday. He had come down from up north in a snow storm pulling a small trailer and apparently his wife bitching all the way that he was going too fast. Eventually he exploded and told her to shut the f#$$ up.

We thought he had left and ten minutes later he comes back in. He had cut the entrance too sharp and was stuck at the entance, wife in the car! That would have been a long (silent) drive back home.
