Comparison Best 60-70 hp tractor

Give me your thoughts on the best 60-70 hp tractor. It will be used to run a small square baler and maybe a 4x5 round baler. Will need FEL.

I currently have a 2014 Mahindra 5010 HST Cab w/loader with 367 hrs and a 2016 John Deere 3025e with loader with 110 hrs. Both fine tractors but I need a tractor that will run the balers.

You like your current tractors - look for a larger unit in those two brands.

Find a JD 4020 in good shape. One of the all time best tractor ever made.

I'd got for a M7060 Kubota.

I have a John Deere 1840 (2440 in the US) and it has 60 hp at the PTO. Bullet proof, simple and dependable. Parts easy to find. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend one for what you are looking for.

I bought the Branson 6530 after shopping all the colors locally back in '07. Main reason was I liked the amenities for creature comfort, functionality, and one person operation considerations when connecting implements. It has served me well. Its 57 PTO HP and I run a JD 375 roller with it putting out 5x4 800# bales and on soft rolling hills it never has to grunt. I have no idea as to what Branson offers in that HP class today.

An Allis Chalmers 180, 185, 190, a John Deere 3020 or 4020, Massey Ferguson 165, 175, 185 are all good choices for a square baler or smaller round baler.

I have a 15 yr. old Kubota M5700 with zero problems , and have run an old hay baler , not sure what size it was with no problem . I have the shuttle shift which I love , great tractor .

Find a used Kubota M7040

agree, spring for open station used M7040 or above in that Mxx40 series. can't speak for other makes. my M series machine has been flawless. & thankful it has the reserve brute force to complete about any utility task at hand. get a hyd shuttle if possible, best regards

So. Not hearing John Deere ‘E’ series. Why? Is it a mistake. They are the most available.

I have to second all that with my M6040, plenty of power, weight and reliability and being a pre tier 4 machine in my mind adds to it value.
