There were many good answers to a question I thought I'd put in the ??????Groan thread.

In my opinion bcp had the correct answer and I doubt my granddaughter would understand enough to judge for herself.

Maybe you & GDotter be best served you tell her it special word used in pasture pool game dat Mark Twain called good way to screw up walk in de country.

Best you listen close to what kid dat age actually asking. "I don't know, lets look up" perfectly acceptable to kid, he/she don't know either and you tryin to help.

Last time my son brought the kids to visit me and play in the pasture my granddaughter wanted to go back to their home on a golf course. Mr. Twain might see that as an indication that this nation is about to crumble and he might be right.

What with tomorrow being Valentine's Day I would recommend that, when buying a gift for your significant other, you spend a bit extra on a quality vacuum cleaner.

De Valentine day thing vastly too commercial. Wimmen kno dat, but der species also know dey gotta get lets call it REWARDED.
Average man go goof gettin "his" woman gift she remember. Trust me here, 99.748563% of gift gettin wimmen not gonna remember what dey got, and in 2021 most just gonna click der hand held plastic box wid checkmark Dey GOT. Come June she can't tell if she got Ferarri or box of chocolates.

Unlike average man, (removed) not gonna stand in store decidin new battery drill or gift for woman. Remember, (removed) dealin wid 9 wimmens in da harem, only 7 ow which gonna be in area tomorrow day. Still, (removed) gonna fulfill 9 wimmens dreams. 7 more concerned wid what (removed) do den dey is wid what husband gonna do.

Probably should mention (removed) CHEAP. He knows buck he spends means he gotta intake near 2 bucks in NY Empire. Budget for harem gifts lower den budget fer drills.

Roses cheap before 12 February, rose got limited shelf life. (removed) swung by flower place on 10 of month, grabbed 9 white roses wid little test tubes on stems and delivered 7 of dem into hand of 7 lovely lady. Other 2 in fridge here. Why 11th, because it not de 14th when everybody tryin to score points. (removed) is charmer and white rose says charming scoundrel has pure intention.

Dem girls all know I scammin, but I got no competition on 11th.

BTW, dat Fast Orange cleaner from Dollar Store get lipstick off shirt real good.

Do Cajuns really put the the big number before the first the way Justin used to? Example, I'll leave in three or two hours?

I like Justin Wilson but he’s really just an entertainer, from somewhere in Mississippi. I don’t believe he’s got Cajun ancestry either.

I don’t recall hearing anyone use numbers in that way but it is possible I suppose. I left for Georgia when I was 22 so at this point I’ve forgotten much more than I remember from back home.
