Hello, I have a MF 135 and need to purchase a new radiator. Does anyone have any recommendations? The prices really seem to fluctuate.

ebay has a few And the online tractor websites. Google (Massey Ferguson 135 radiator) Shop for best price but watch sellers feedback on ebay.

Thanks everyone, I have been looking on eBay and google. The prices really fluctuate. Anywhere from $300 to around $150. Some have a one year warranty some have a two year.

I have also looked into a radiator repair shop, but I was not sure how much that would cost and if they would provide a warranty. There are not many radiator shops in the area anymore.

All States Ag Pa. has part number 1660499m94 listed for $169.99, This may be an new aluminum replacement radiator.
They also have part number 1660499m92, which is a used/rebuilt radiator, for $170, which I assume may be an OEM MF copper core radiator.
The phone number for All States Ag Pa. is: 1-877-530-4430

I had a bullet hole in my 231 radiator. The previous owner had plugged it with epoxy and it had the OE plastic drain cock. I found a radiator repair shop nearby and took it to him. He charged me $50 to clean the radiator, repair the bullet hole and he installed a new brass drain cock in the bottom tank. It has not lost a bit of water since. I would look for a local radiator ship to repair the OE radiator. You might check with a local auto parts store or a local body shop for a recommendation for a local rad shop. Some are pretty well hidden. Mine was.

Unless that was done 25 years ago I would say that was a bargain price on the repair.

Done 3 year ago and yes it was a bargain compared to a new radiator. His prices are still the same .Heck, if I had a radiator that needed repair and there was no one nearby, I would ship it to a reliable shop for repair. If you are interested, I'll provide the name of the shop I used. It is 5 miles from me and highly recommended by large equipment shops who have their rediators repaired. I watched him as he worked on an all aluminum radiator from some large machine with a 600 hp diesel engine. It was routine for him. He is small
(3 employees) and thorough.

Thanks everyone. The radiator was leaking in an area on the top that was once repaired probably many years ago. A new one was ordered from American Cooling Solutions in South Dakota.

Heck, that radiator in your photo looks almost new compared to mine before I had it repaired. The radiator in your photo looks like an easy repair for a good rad shop

Many locales no longer have any radiator shops, let alone good ones.

While fixing that radiator would be possible, I thing buying a new radiator for that 20 year old tractor is a very wise idea.

Who pulled this out of the Old Post Hole? And why?

I replaced my radiator 3 months ago. Last week the front tire went into a trench and the radiator developed a tiny leak somewhere. I think its leaking from the radiator tank and not the fine. It's weird that a trench could twist the "frame" enough to ruin a radiator.

I think I'd solder that leak myself. Both radiators. Keep the old one. You may need again.

Good idea. Pretty sure the tank has the tiny leak....not find.

Now days you can get rubber plumbing caps with clamps and cap those hose openings in radiator. Get one double no hub clamp and put one end on radiator and pvc fitting with a tire style valve fitting. Put the cap on and pressure up the radiator to find your leak. I've got another deal that replaces radiator cap and pressures the system up. A boy working for us was on foot because he lost a freeze plug on back of engine. Hate to see a hard worker on foot. Went got his truck and brought to shop. Had to pull trans to get to freeze plug. I pressured it all up to double what the radiator cap was before trans went back in. He was good to go.
