Possible purchase of Kioti DK65

I originally posted this in the Kioti Buying/Pricing forum but haven't had a response yet, so hoped to get input here.

I have found an 2002 DK65. I haven't seen it in person yet but have seen pics and talked very briefly with the owner. It's showing 2500 hrs. on a nonworking hr. meter ( I haven't yet discussed estimated actual hrs). It is for sale at a small dealership where it has been kept and "used" ( not sure doing what) by the dealership's owners as a personal tractor for about 1 1/2 yrs. Decent cosmetic condition, R4 Tires appear to be about 50%.ROPS model/no cab, MFWD, 12x12 shuttle but NO loader. ( I would put an FEL on it if I buy it). Asking $10,500. I was planning on looking at it on Thursday but last week I ruptured a bicep tendon and when I saw the Ortho Doc on Tuesday, he assured me that surgery on Thursday was more important than buying an old tractor. So it'll be a couple of days before I can look at it.

While I wait, is anyone familiar with this model and could offer their impression of it's quality and features ( or lack of)? I'd like to hear any and all input on the tractor, the "asking" price and what I should pay special attention to when I look at it. Thanks

I don’t have first hand experience with the DK65 but have owned a smaller same generation CK and now have. 2007 DK40SE. The DK65 has always had a good reputation. No significant problem areas I can recall. I’d make sure you can get a loader for it as that machine is at least three generations old and Kioti may not sell them anymore.

Despite a lengthy search, I could not find the specific loader model used by the DK65. Its a tough tractor, with a 64Hp Perkins diesel and 3pt lift of 4950lbs.

Update: found it, model Kioti KL17305 Loader

I believe that KMW built the loaders for Kioti back then.
My time frame may be off,:confused3: but worth a look.

Your time frame may be correct.
My 2001 DK35 has a KMW built loader.

Thanks for the responses. I looked at the tractor yesterday, it is about 100 miles from home. I had to pick up an outdoor wood furnace for my son in the next town over from the tractor so i ran by to see it in person. It's at an LS dealership that doesn't keep Saturday hours so i couldn't talk to anyone. I was able to give it a good once over though. Visual inspection was favorable. I believe I make the trip next week and see if I can make a deal. I'm not worried about finding a factory loader, I will find a deal on a aftermarket model and adapt it.

I'd still appreciate any more advice or opinions! i
