Theres even a very cheap option Kubota offers that disconnects all 4 hoses for the loader with one handle.

Too bad they inherently leak after a while. Me, I'll stick with my pre 4 Kubota's. The OP may not have any issues but from what I read on various forums, lots of owners do have issues and of course, being a common rail motor, no backyard wrenching. You cannot do squat, not even diagnose an issue because the ECM has proprietary connectors. Just like JD, no fiddling allowed.

Guess that is why pre 4 Kubota's over 75 horses are in increasing demand and command very high sale prices. I have 2.

All you can do is oil changes and filter changes and grease them.

Me I don't care for the cast centers sticking out. I much prefer the flay cast disc centers the rim attaches to directly.

Good luck with it. If it breaks you'll need it. If it don't be happy.

Mine are all Pre 4-s, too. I have no new tractor bug.
Theres 200 acres of hay near me and when the guy who does it now retires, Im next to get the keys to the place.
Probably go with a clean Boxcar Magnum 4WD and a Krone 4x4 :D

Not 'some' -- A lot. I'm one of them. $4,300 later

Believe it or else, the emissions junk actually works better on diesels that are used a lot. Really a lot. I've seen 500,000 miles on a stock diesel w/emissions.

It's the ones that sit that have problems. DEF doesn't really go bad ETA (If kept sealed and away from exposure to air) but it gets polluted really easy and the injector nozzles can get clogged.

26HP floor? This is proof of the fascism of the EPA. There is absolutely NO reason to force unproven engineering GARBAGE on people that buy under-40HP tractors. Most of them are residential/hobby farm use.

But the EPA just simply doesn't care. About you and, IMO, about the environment. They care about power. They love to throw their power around.

John Kerry's Private Jet doesn't use DEF and it doesn't have a DPF. Jet A fuel is essentially diesel and a 600 MPH Gulfstream will burn a whole lot more of it than my (or your) 40 HP Kubota put-putting in the garden.

Sorry for the rant. I'll be quiet now. I detest the EPA

Complete agreement, Taken.

Nice tractor!

I think if you work a tractor frequently near it's rated HP, emissions are less of an issue. I avoided DPF/DEF intentionally, but realize if I want something new in the future I'm stuck with it.

Emissions probably an incentive to not buy too big of a tractor that hardly labors.

If you are going to inject politics into the conversation, at least be honest about it. These diesel regulations were first passed and implemented by the George W. Bush administration. It’s easy to blame the EPA, the agency responsible for enforcement. WTF......attack John Kerry? Trump’s jet doesn’t burn hydrocarbons? In fact, it probably burns more hauling all those **** stars around😀

Pure fantasy gutter talk that belongs on Twitter.

Lets get back to the OPs M5-111.
