seems the forum upgrades lost some items, cannot find the post (iirc in the what have you done thread) about replacing the haipins with clevis pins that I had replied to.
I have replaced all hairpins on whole tractor with clevis EXCEPT the 2 that hold the DL100 legs up onto loader arms.
the reason I have not just drilled and replaced is there is not a lot of "meat" on the pin welded to arms that the clip goes into.
I was wondering if anyone has drilled it to accept a 3/16 clevis and if they ran into any long term issues from vibration.

edit: I typed clevis pin but MEANT lynch pin.

I don't recall seeing those previous posts. I will say (just for my 2 cents worth) you must be desperate for something to do to be changing out all those pins. Do you think there is some sort of problem with the factory pins ?

those hairpin clips are a pain compared to actual lynch pins and, as I have found on a GTC1710 and GC2310 those hairpin clips can easily break. twice we have had a small rock bounce onto the bush hog and jam into lift arm snapping pin. lynch pin does not break. so I decided to do it on my personal 2400
I replaced everything with these.

Odd... I never seem to have a problem with hair pins, but have lost several lynch pins over time (or lynch pin fairy sneaks on to property and steals then)...

thanks, I took a chance and carefully drilled those 2 to 3/16 (then wiggled bit a little for clearance) and will monitor. if I see ny issues will prob just sleeve it (vs cut off and reweld whole pin and pad) and extend it 1/2 inch.
