Yes we were very pleased with the result. To see 6 n a half ton yachts zipping along at close to 60 miles per hour on foils...impressive.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 35° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 44° with rain in AM. Clouds and wind in afternoon. Almost for got Sassy had a vet appointment yesterday. Got that done and enjoyed some outdoor time. No plans for today.
Dove must have been airing out in the warm afternoon.

Lou, send my congratulation to your son on his retirement. Thank him for his service. Good drive went well.

David, spending stimulus money should be fun. I wonder it they are going to send me a check or direct deposit this time.

Rich, still too cold for bike rides here. I did think about getting mine cleaned up. Mine is a pedal type.

Mostly, many of the birds at that feeder land on some part of the post before going to the suet cakes.

Cut down the last big dead oak yesterday. Didn't wear my red cape, but did wear my red shirt, until Eric's safety inspector made me dress properly, like she did. If I can get these pix to upload, the tree I cut yesterday is shown standing, then on the ground in the middle background. My wife took a video of the tree falling. Can you post them directly here, now?

Good morning all

30 now highs in the mid to upper 40’s and cloudy with rain later today. The rain could end as snow tonight but not much for accumulation. We could use some rain, still flirting with a drought situation.

Spent the day yesterday putting tools away and organizing the shed (again). A clear case of to much stuff, not enough room and me being a slob! Did have a couple of beers in honor of St Patrick.

Nothing much planned for today just putter around.

Prayers for those dealing with the crazy weather that’s been happening around the country.

good morning all. 43 going up to 47 today in pretty heavy rain later, about an inch predicted.
big Amazon shipment comes in today, including a solar electric fence I'm going to put up to save both the tulips
and the veggie garden from deer. Hope to get that installed this weekend. I had ordered a grounding kit unnecessarily for my
portable gen, sure is going to come in handy now, electric fences need a ground and they gave me two ground poles in the kit and lots
of wire. So I'll have enough for two systems.

Good morning all. I've not read all 13,000 pages so I guess I fit in as a newcomer.

Yesterday it rained and we got almost 1" so we have a lot of mud. Today is going to be interesting. The concrete contractor will be coming out to finish up the form work for the driveway and should be ready to pour tomorrow. However, he can't seem to get concrete. One plant won't ship without fly ash in the mix and they're out of fly ash. Another plant is mad at him and won't sell him concrete because he used a different plant on a recent job. There's still a couple more plants available, but they're a little ways out. He's also being told there is a cement shortage due to a plant in Dallas blowing up (??? anyone heard about this?)

It's actually funny (sort of) because he poured concrete for me before and ran into one weather delay after another. I think he had to redo the form work 3 times before he was able to pour and it took over a month from starting the form work to the completion of the pour. The driveway is beginning to look like it will go the same way.

On top of that, Terminix left a message that they're coming out to spray poision. I called them back to tell them to postpone their trip, but their mailbox is full. So, they'll have to drive out here just to find out they'll have to reschedule.
