Good morning!!!!

46F and sunny @ 11:00, headed up to a high of 58F for the day. After today, there are 60F highs as far as the forecast can see ... (y)

This morning, as I looked out the kitchen window while waiting for the microwave to warm my coffee, I noticed that the daffodils are finally up ... which seems totally appropriate for The First Day of Spring.

Here in a little bit, after I handle some email traffic, I'll head up to the shop and start a fire in the double-barrel stove to get it warmed up.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ... (y)

Poured first cup of coffee. 18° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 56° with sunny skies. Got shopping done. Went outside to do some cleanup of yard yesterday. Cool northeast wind sent be back in house. Going to work on that today. After it warms up.

Wish everyone would put a stop to the "MY OPINION IS BETTER THAN YOURS" post. That's not what the Good Morning thread should be about.

It would probably help if folks avoided commentary with political overtones - that way they wouldn't draw responses.

Of course, I think the likelihood of that is about ... zero.

I read the whole article and it had no impact on the relevant part I posted.

Fair enough.

I merely thought having at least a link available to the source of the quote would be good, no real reason to obscure it.

Just adding a little further context.

I’m also familiar with his career and I didn’t have to furiously google it to try and upstage anyone. Just adding context.

Neither did I.

63°F and .45inches rain.

Maybe a conserve energy day. If it was a beautiful day I’d be bemoaning not having my tractor to finish mowing.

Dinner in town with Bl and his girlfriend.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Happy Birthday to Grandson, Randy.

I think our vaccinations were Medicare covered. We got them at our normal clinic and somewhat strangely the first question wasn’t about insurance. Assumed they didn’t need it as it is on file.

Maybe next TBN update can include a Dislike button.
I worry we may be opening a can of worms here.
Now we have individual scores for each of us based on how many good posts/likes we've received.
Then we would have scoring on Dislikes too.
And what would it tell us?
I could simply use the word Liberal in a sentence dealing with a lawn mower
and I'd get a lot of votes one way or the other based on apparent axes to grind.

David, I have never liked the ominous position of the Report function/button. As soon as you finish reading there it is right in front, report, report!
Whereas you have to hunt for Good Post over on the right. Maybe this works better on phones.
But if enough folks click on Report, which I believe is confidential, some moderator will surely get involved.

When they threw the innocents to the lions in the Coliseum, the crowds roared in delight.
The intelligence of crowds worries me...
