Good morning!!!!

   / Good morning!!!! #130,181
Spring arrived with 24° and clear skies. Warming starting today.

Got a grocery and cat food pick up this morning, while I’m there I’m going to check one last time in the paperwork for the UTV then move on.

Went to dinner with daughter and family last night, I had really good fish and chips.

Today is my oldest grandson’s birthday. 12 years old today, becoming a young man. I just wish his mom mom could have been here to see it.

Time to move, groceries are waiting.

Have a good day.
Happy B'day to the grandson. We are having the party for my son's today. Who doesn't like a good classic song every now and then....

Drew, what is the world going to do with all the waste from lithium batteries? The mines alone exact a pretty hefty fee to the environment. It might end up making nuclear waste look like a drop in the bucket later on. Bay ecosystems need fresh water for most everything. After so many tidal exchanges, it's like flushing the toilet when a big freshwater flow comes through. Shrimp, fish, and so many others depend on freshwater. It really is a big deal. They have had to change the outflow of Texas' Colorado river multiple times, after messing up initiially.

I'm wondering which type of electricity the hydroelectric uses at night to pump water uphill?

Beautiful day here. Having pizza at 2pm.

I'm glad so many are getting their vaccines. I have about 3 more weeks to get my 2nd.

The taxpayers are paying for the vaccine. If you have insurance, they want the insurance to pay for administering the shot. Mine was done at a private clinic.

We were told to leave the insurance info section blank on the vaccination form.
The little forms we filled out didn't ask for any insurance information. And when the little hospital made the appointment, nothing was mentioned about insurance, but when we got there, they knew our ages, and asked about our Medicare cards, which we readily gave to them. But we got our first shot BEFORE the first of the year and the second AFTER the first of the year and our health insurance through the City changed companies the first of this year. So when we went for the second shots, they didn't mention insurance, BUT I told the lady about the change and gave her our new cards for her to make copies. I've still seen nothing to show what they charged, if they charged, and how much.

And today is officially the first day of Spring. I mowed all my yard a few days ago, the neighbor on the north side of us mowed his a couple of days ago, the neighbor behind us mowed his yesterday, and the neighbor on the south side of us mowed theirs today. Spring has sprung. I've got the fertilizer; just waiting to see if it looks like rain before i put it out in hopes that I don't have to water so much.:D:D

34 degrees briefly, officially this morning, although I think it was a couple of degrees warmer here at the house, up to 63 now and going for 68.

Good points, Drew.
My thinking at the time was maybe some immediate Dislikes would trigger a poster into dropping the subject. Too simple.
I don’t see the need for keeping score, let each post speak for itself, some good, some less so. No need for incentive to rack up points in either category.
I know I’ve stepped over the line before, but simple awareness of the fact is sufficient, nor have I felt compelled to defend to point of annoyance or trying to have the last word. My sense of being right doesn’t always mean the other person is wrong. I’m still learning.
I like, enjoy, respect our diversity of opinions here, without the baggage from some of the other forums. Hope it stays that way.

Certainly a beautiful day out there ... ;)

Emails sent, grapple repair - with some accompanying some jaw-jacking - all completed ... problems of the world solved ... (y)

When they threw the innocents to the lions in the Coliseum, the crowds roared in delight.
The intelligence of crowds worries me...
Looking back over the past year, and this past winter, you have good cause to be concerned. Just more signs of the approaching apocalypse. $.02

It should ... and for very good reasons.

Interesting discussion on wiper blades. Thought maybe I would take advantage.
