OH, you opened up a big pearly gate here since eating animals is not required for human life, one could say all animal killing is needless.

In December it was reported that covid was the #1 Killer in 2020. Now after all the numbers are in, heart disease was still #1, cancer #2 and covid #3. If I can relocate that source that was reported this month I'll post it.

I saw a documentary a few days ago that claimed hippopotamus' kill 3000 people a year in Africa. Maybe add that to the list.

Lots of vaccines this week in Texas but no J&J. Is anyone getting to choose a vaccine by choosing a site? Do you know what vaccine will be given when you sign up?

I saw Walmart was offering shots, they said Pfizer. Was there to straighten out another overcharge when wife picked up my meds.

Got wiper blades at Costco for son’s car. They didn’t have 16”, so I got a 17”. I think it will work.

Interestingly they don't kill to eat, they are vegetarian. They just don't like people in their space. They eat a 100 pounds of grass a day. Forget about pit bulls get a hippo to mow your yard and keep people out.

Talked my son into hiking with me up at the national park. Hiked uphills a mile and back down. Legs felt ok, but was very winded going uphills. Had to stop a lot. Lots of people on the trail. 50 minutes up, 38 min down. Around 800 ft elevation.
The road thru the park was closed, which is usually because the prez is there, but can’t imagine that now. So had to park at visitor center (which was closed) and hike further. Ended up not making it to where I wanted to get to, was another .7 miles.

Then got Mexican food for supper.

The town down the street is called Hutto. They once had an escaped Hippo. Now their high school sports teams are called the Hutto Hippos.
Notice how the number 3000 comes up a lot when talking about hippos.
