Choosing attachments for L4701, looking for suggestions.

Fixed! Thanks for everyone's help. Much appreciated.

On the loader control valve the Pump and Power Beyond were switched. I thought I checked this several times, but when the dealer came out to check on the issue they found that those two were switched. Somehow I must have missed it. On my loader valve those two lines are on both on the same side.

I'm glad to have it all figured out. I installed my 3rd function kit this afternoon, looking forward to testing it out tomorrow. I blew the in line fuse while installing it. I should have waited till the end to hook it up to the battery since it was hard to keep the little wires in the control knob from touching when installing.

Yes, it was that way when I bought it. My hunch is the dealer added a loader priot to selling.

With 4x4 FEL loader could one fill front bucket with dirt and pull disc with out rear tire weights or liquid in tires ??

The best place for ballast weight for pulling is always on the main pulling axle or just behind the pulling axle (tough with a 3ph implement attached), next best place is on the secondary pulling axle. The worse place for weight is where it remove traction from the primary pulling axle (such as the fel bucket).

Good news. Amazing the same thing too. Easy fix but sometimes you have to find everything else too. Same symptoms I had. I was sure that is what you too but when checked first time I was not sure what else..... Now its time to install your 3rd Function going....

Well I learned a lot about my tractor through that ordeal. I'm happy it's done.

I successfully installed the 3rd function kit yesterday afternoon. It went better than I thought it would. Now I'm waiting for a non-rainy day to get out there are use my tree puller.

I am using the grapple for all sorts of chores. It's saving my back and in time. Agreed that the ordeal helps you learn the tractor.

What width of box blade would be recommended for this tractor?

Tractor is 63" wide. I'd go with a 72" box blade. A 60" will not cover your wheel width.

Thanks. I saw EA offers a 66" would that be better? Or is it fine to hang out the side a few inches.
