On my Regent the torsion bar and front hanger are worn.
I was able to get a newish torsion bar, the hangers that hold it on look good.

There is a plate at the front of the transmission assembly that hold the front of the torsion bar. a plate rolled with hooked metal to hold the bar but allow it to flex.

I can't find this in the parts books or see it in any manuals.
Anyone have an idea what it's called, part number etc.

It's part of or a transmission mount if I recall. But you really could post some model numbers.

That is showing only the mower deck carrier. I went through the parts diagrams and no torsion bar carrier, only the mounts for the back.

I don't see many Simplicity riders. Isn't the carrier in that above diagram what surrounds the transaxle?
Here is a drive related image:

A photo of the part in question would be a big help.

Simplicity is behind tractor and it's been raining here, pictures as soon I can.
The parts there are the back mounts for the torsion bar. Where the ends go.
The part I am looking for carries the bar in front, Like a hangar.

Sadly, it looks like part of the frame side rails. I guess weld would be the only way to fix.
This is my spare parts machine, the one I use to mow is better, but not by a while lot.
Was hoping to give this to the kid for a runabout as we did the head gasket and valves and got it running real nice...

I would think that you could also bolt on a support, not knowing if you weld or not. the first thing comes to mind are the deck supports for the small Toro ZTRs.
