Can't speak for other places but leaving the house is akin to stepping back to when the West was wild...
For most of a year almost no Law Enforcement presence both local and Highway Patrol...
Daily I see vehicles speed up and blow through stops and stop lights and driving freeway reminds me of Autobahn... cars blowing by like 65 is standing still.
The sideshows only now are getting some pushback...
And yes... Gunshots are way up... Some say heading for 300% but time will tell.

I honestly don't understand this new "Asian" hate thing (and yes, it'e even making the news to rural NC).
Is the violence black on Asian or cracker on Asian (I'm caucasion, so I can say cracker
).I sincerely wonder why you would beat someone up (or hate) due to the color of their skin.
Where does this show that "a cop is 18 times more likely to be shot by a black man than a black man being shot by a cop." ?

The perpetrators almost exclusively young African American... some living on street and some just thugs...
It's not hard to kill an elderly person slamming them into the street...
My African American neighbors have cautioned my elderly Asian neighbors to be careful... saying too many young thug's ripping and running...
The first time I came face to face was as a young property manager showing a nice modest home...
Asian family came to see it with kids and grandparents... 5 bedroom 2 bath.
They liked the home and asked for application...
As I was leaving a young African American motioned me across the street... I walked over and he said you better not be thinking of selling that house to those Asians... we will run them out...
I said the house isn't for sale but the are looking to rent... he said this was their neighborhood and I better find a Brother to rent unless I wanted problems.
The Asian family called me about an hour later and said thank you and the place is perfect but when they were leaving some boys were staring at them and made them feel afraid...
One thing on discrimination... it exist in every race from my experience...
Came back next day and windows broken and graffiti on new paint... "Wright Boys Go Home"
Of course it was not racist as deemed by OPD...
