New Branson 2610h, rear lift only works with FEL joystick...

I am a VERY new tractor owner. As in, purchased yesterday (just bought 15 acres & needed one to keep things in order). Dealer is 2 hours away. He has been very helpful on the phone & is waiting for answers for me. But I figured I would try to get answers for myself in the meantime.

My 3 point will lower with the correct lever. But it will not raise. It actually raises & lowers when I raise & lower the bucket (even when the BL110S FEL is disconnected). It ended up going too far up last night & fluid started leaking out pretty bad. I stopped immediately, so hopefully no harm was done. Here's a short video I took last night. Hopefully someone here might have some ideas.

It sure seems like some lines are just hooked up to the wrong place, but I want to be a little more sure before I start rearranging.

First off there is no "too far" in the 3pt travel. Just the end of the travel. And nothing should leak when you reach it.

The loader valves on Bransons often send all flow out the tank port when they are operated. It's acting like the power beyond and tank ports from the loader valve are reversed. The PB should run to the 3pt (going through remotes or 3rd function if you have them). The tank port goes into the transmission which is also the tank.

It looks new, it should be under warranty. Talk to the dealer.

Sounds to me like some hoses are in the wrong couplers but it's new so let the dealer deal with it.

Welcome to TBN and congrats on the new tractor!

At first glance, it sure looks like the classic case of Tank and PB lines reversed, however, since you mentioned that it started to leak everyone, I'm afraid some damage was done. Hopefully it's just a simple O-ring or loose fitting.

It might indeed be a dealer job.

I'm not sure exactly how Branson has the hydraulics setup on this 2610 as we don't have a manual for that tractor on the manuals list here in the forum.

Thank you guys. It's not leaking anymore. I shut it down as soon as it started. And I've just been careful to not keep lifting when the 3 point is all the way up anymore. And it seems to be okay. But I'll keep an eye on that just in case!

And as far as the dealer, I'm 2.5 hours away. So it's a big ordeal to get it back to them. I'd much rather just turn the wrenches myself. I'm very comfortable with that. Just not sure exactly what it is I need to do.

Can you provide us a picture from the area where the other two hoses come from? I believe it's close to the side of the engine.

Also, where exactly does that hose you mentioned on the video go? To the side of the transmission hosing? Or to another valve?

Do keep in mind that of you screw with it and cause more issues, the dealer is under no obligation to honor any warranty or even repair it.

Like others have stated suspect tank and power beyond lines are swapped. If your 3PH is like my 2400 the feed back linkage occasionally does not fully operate and does not unload pump to tank. If this happens and your lines are swapped their is good possibility the FEL valve is damaged from tank back pressure so do not mess with it if still under warranty.

Thanks all, swapped the lines & all is good now! Hopefully there is no damage. Everything works great. No leaks. So I think it's all good. But I'll keep an eye our for any trouble. Thanks!
