She (DIL) likes the hospice, just have to wait until somebody dies. They are full. The good news is that they have been in operation since 2012, so they know what they are doing. They are also about 1/2 mile from Huntsville hospital.
I wonder how far they are from a crematorium. She wants to be toasted when all is said and done.

After I pick the right six numbers tonight, I think I will get me a new to me Packard. It was a huge debate with myself, new to me Packard Clipper Super Panama or a '37 Rolls Royce Phaeton.

I’d take the Rolls in a heartbeat! Imagine driving around Huntsville with that thing!

49F and clear @ 21:30, headed down to an overnight low of around 36F supposedly. Frost advisory issued.

Made progress on lower front as far mowing and aerating goes, but I left some (less than 10%) for tomorrow afternoon at the bottom as it was still very wet. But got upper front finished, also all around the house (east, south, and west) ...

WOW!!
That is a LOT of lawn to do with a 40" aerator!!!
However, if you're a retired guy...well, you've got the time...and work like that is quite satisfying (to me, at least).
Anyway, tractor (PTO) aerators are big bucks!

Billy and Buppies and others in VA and NC, hope your fuel tanks are full this morning:
70% of all gas stations in North Carolina, 47% in Georgia and 53% in Virginia were without gasoline.

have some errands to run this morning but otherwise a quiet day. Burpee sent apology note for tomatoes being delayed in shipping.
They are all of 40 minutes away from here, seems like much of the world is behind.

first hummingbird showed up yesterday, yeah.

40 chilly degrees this morning high in 60s. Gas Buddy pretty informative on who has fuel and who doesn’. Locally percent growing most near me have no fuel.

this is 21 minutes long but worth coming back to. Happened yesterday near Denver as two small
planes tried to land at the same time on parallel twin runways. Mid-air crash, no one injured, a miracle,
and the first I've seen of the Cirrus parachute system bringing their plane down to the ground.
I thought one needed one's neck on a swivel driving a big truck but I think that is an understatement for
two planes on visual landing competing for the same airspace. What makes this all the more amazing is a student pilot
on his very first solo flight witnessed the whole thing and recorded it on his Gopro.

I think that parachute system has a lot of merit. Too bad they can't build it into a big jet...

Popgadget, beware of parallel runways. Reminds me of going into a roundabout and for sure not trusting the other guy
to yield

does make me wonder why collision avoidance radar buzzers aren't going off like mad but apparently not.
