I thought Diamond Cs were the be all-end all of trailers?
j/k
Whenever I haul logs or brush, I always have a chain saw in case a branch sticks out too far.
Just something us diesel guys do ;)

Sorry, forgot to respond.

I don’t think I ever said Diamond C was the anything of trailers. I have recommended them and stated that mine is the worst one I’ve ever seen. Insert joke about being built on Friday before a holiday weekend.

If I know we are doing trees, I will bring at least a reciprocating saw with a long blade. I have a chainsaw, but didn’t bring it or any saw because we were done with all the wood and were doing the concrete and dirt stuff. Then, the land owner decided he wanted the tree down. Of course, we had saws at the job site. Didn’t do me any good at the dump. I should probably just buy some more tools to keep in the truck, but it’s pretty full, already.

Side note….how is your new truck holding up? It sure looks good, in the pics you posted.

Truck fine so far. I am to
d by a guy who sits behind a desk all day that the cummins can’t pull like an ecoboost......bottom end isn’t as strong.....but somehow managing to get by.....

Yeah, I know the j/k. I was just covering for those reading that aren’t you or I.

My memory is slipping, who said a Cummins isn’t as strong as an EcoBoost? That’s hilarious. Perhaps, I should go back to the gas vs diesel thread…..

Thanks for all the replies. I recently got some measured/scaled loads of soil and gravel....in doing so I realized all the loads of soil I loaded with the excavator were WAY over the spec of trailer! Probably closer to 5t instead of the 3.5t. I

So I'm not mad about the one front heavy load that wouldn't dump.

I have a 14k TopHat and have hauled 7 loads in one day with no extra charges needed.

tons of uses for a dump trailer.

it doubles as a utility/ equipment hauler.

I also have a solar charger connected so I never have to plug in to 120 volts.
