after not being run for a few days, tractor starts fine but acts like left brake is engaged. rocking back and forth will cause a loud popping noise after which it seems to be fine. decided to overhaul brakes, but cannot pull final drive off. it moves one-half inch out and stops.

this forum has a Zetor section, if ur tractor has a hand brake that uses a band then u will need to
loosen the adjuster or remove it to get the final drive off, do u have the service and parts manual ?

thanks for the heads up on the zetor section. i do have the shop manual and have disconnected the rod from the parking brake cable and tapped it toward the brake with no affect.
