Here I go again.......:) The belt on my belly mower on my e Max 25 came apart. Called the Dealer, Monroe Tractor to order a replacement only to be told they no longer carry the Mahindra line. Wish they had sent something out telling us that. Anybdy else in NY or other areas that bought their tractors there and found out like I didi?
Anyway, rant over. Looking for a replacement belt. I did order one from a supplier on Norwich NY but I think we all know how long that will take. Plus the cost is $130. Has anyone had to replace theirs and if so how didi you find one that fits?
Thanks
Mike

Do you have the old belt and is it on one piece?
Are there any numbers on it?
If so, take it to Rural King, Tractor Supply, NAPA, places like that and they should be able to fix you up.

Or, find another Mahindra dealer and give them a call to find the part number.

Have you tried the Mahindra website and their on-line catalog?

Hi Folks. As always you guys are the best. I looked at another Thread on here and they had the same problem and mentioned a NAPA Product. Going to give that a try as its abut $90 less then the Dealer.
Thanks again.

Measure the length of the belt.

The numbers on fan belts go something like (I've forgotten the whole sequence) V075 for a 75'' long V belt. (I assume it's a V belt?)

Then you can go to a place that sells them and look at them. You don't have to get a MMM specific belt. Just a decent generic brand that fits

I should take a pic instead of trying to describe it......its (The belt) is cut in 2 and frayed. No numbers legible. Only number I have is the Mahindra part number

I did find another dealer about an hour from me. They quoted me 140 and no real time for delivery (which I figured would be the case.) I did go ahead and order that one as well as the one from NAPA. NAPA says 4 days so when the other one arrives Ill have a spare.

What is the part number from Mahindra?

The farm store around here has a wall of belts in all HP rating, widths, and lengths in 1/2" increments. Just take it in and they measure it and pick the closest one off the wall.
