Kubota Operator Protection Circuit OBC bypass

For those of you who have had the pleasure of finding and repairing the OBC circuit to have the privilege of starting and operating your tractor Here is a simple way to at least have a bypass switch in place to avoid the inconvenience of the breakdown. Simply install a jumper between the Black White and Black Yellow wires in the connector body of the OBC controller connector.

It should work on your B3030 if you should find yourself in that situation. It simply bypasses the controller and sends voltage directly to the starter when you turn the key to the 'Start' position.

These two wires are connect the starter solenoid to the start position of the key switch through the OBC relay. A screwdriver jumped across the power terminal at the starter to the solenoid will turn over your tractor.

Thanks for the explanation-we are bypassing the OPC and sending the start trigger current to the starter solenoid.

I would assume that the OPC will still shutdown the engine if a safety switch is activated?
