Nice idea, but not robust for the bigger augers. My machine is a full CUT, the vid shows an SCUT.

Here's a robust one I made last decade and it's still holding today.

2X 6X6 SQ posts and a 6-in dia 6FT fence post. There are 2X lag bolts that act as line-up pins for the fence post. Put the auger on, the weight keeps it down.

The round fence post helps so much because lining up the tractor is not longer a big deal, the round post allows the auger to swap right or left when hooking up to the 3PT. Not shown is the bungee cord holding the PTO shaft to the top-link mount. This way, it doesn't get dirt inside the spline.

Cool, OP. I always hung mine on a chain from the machine shed rafters. But I like the post/beam idea better.

Loggers took out 3,000 pines. The master logger said that having a tractor, I would need a notched disc to snap all the roots. It works extremely well for that.

With the solid cinder blocks, 6 = 90lbs. The garden bed looks all most as good as a PTO tiller. Front gang notched, rear gang smooth disc.

I kept the image full resolution. This way anyone can see the lag bolts on top. And my girls are in the background.
