Well I deal with Kubota and NH up close and personal every day at a dealership. Workshop manual is Kubotaspeak for a service manual. If it isn't in a WSM the guy on the street isn't getting access to it, similar to him not having access to the stuff you have pictured.
And like I said, you aren't eliminating a de-rate on either brand by looking at a display and punching buttons on the dash or A pillar.

But those facts are the root of the problem. BTW
I'll let you guess all night who started it. I really don't know or care.

Anyone can buy that book, diagnostic information is not restricted access. I don't work for a dealer.

Well no, that's not how you clear a de-rate, you can't do that with a laptop either, you have to repair the problem... After that it's a matter of resetting the code which can be done through the display usually (or with a laptop). De-rates are caused by active emissions faults, addressing the causing fault code will clear the de-rate.

Almost everything has onboard diagnostics now, but there are those smaller base model machines don't, in that situation you are stuck taking it to the dealer.

My 2016 3520h has ZERO computers. It’s dumb as a box of rocks and it’s exactly how tractors should be!
So are both of mine. Just how I like it. Makes life simpler.

This whole issue paints a picture of incredible corporate greed and a placing their profit margin above the good of society. John Deere is not a company I wish to support by purchasing any of their equipment. I think that have been taking lessons on how to run a business from Monsanto.

Tractor manufactures are not the only ones!
HP printers if you don't use HP ink cartridges your
printer may not work. I was using HP ink and all
of a sudden on the screen it said are these HP ink
cartridges? and have had trouble ever since new
ink cartridges and you can barely see the printing
and sometimes it just spits out blank pages.
I was going to get a new printer when the is this
HP ink changed my mine.

It should be understood that the underlying problem needs to be identified and repaired. I'm sorry for not clarifying the blind obvious.
Your continued assertion that derate emissions faults can be cleared and full performance restored through onboard means is incorrect for the brands and models our shop sees no matter how many times you reword and repeat the claims.

It should indeed be very clear. The amount of threads on TBN where the owners had to send their tractors back to the dealer because the DPF got plugged and had to be connected to the computer with the OEM software to force the regen should be very obvious.

Remember when people thought electric can openers were too high tech?

As is my Iseki TM3160, and my Jinma when I had it, if somethings not working, you can see why.

Yup I had a HP scanner/printer. I refused to pay the price for HP cartridges so I bought refilled ones, every time I went to print I had to jump thru hoops. Went to print something one day and it just pi$$ed me off enough I put my fist thru the top and threw it out in the driveway. Two minutes later my daughter drove in, looked at the remnants of the printer and remarked with a straight face, "Printer not working too good", she has an ability to state the obvious LOL. Went and bought a Brother laser printer. So far I've gone thru 2 off brand cartridges without a hitch, never again HP for me.............Mike
