Tractor
several
I'm trying to find out what model a tractor I just got is. I'm not finding a lot of info going by what few numbers I have.
It's gas and has A35580 on the panel below the dash.
I think it may be a 430. the backhoe and loader are model 23
Unfortunately the hood is homemade so there's no numbers there
The motor is a G148b
I think it's probably industrial/commercial. It has {I believe} a 5 speed transmission with a lever to change from forward to reverse.
No pto or 3 pt. I think it has a diff lock.
I've attached a few pics
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)
John

Sounds and looks like a 430. I have 2 of the 580ck tractors with #33 hoe and loaders on them.
#23 would be the right number for the older 430 stuff.

Thanks.
I'm going to have to look at the tranny again. I thought it had 5 speeds with a lever for forward and reverse but the specs say 8 speeds forward and 2 in reverse, so maybe the lever is hi and low.
Still not sure if this is considered an industrial tractor or farm tractor, but it has no pto which leads me to believe it's industrial.

should be 4 speed with hi-lo lever giving 8 F and 2 R. 430 Utility would be industrial model.
